Shield defense.  Fire offense.  Sometimes naming a character isn't rocket surgery.  I chose those power sets because Shield was just days old, and Fiery Melee had a reputation for granting decent offense to a tank. 

I gave him the shredded look because as a tank he would always be in the heart of the action.  His foes would be particularly vicious in trying to take him down.  I'm not sure why he has the goggles, but they fit in aesthetically.

He only was on Infinity for about a year before being moved to Protector.  He'd reached 50, and I already had both a 50 tank and a younger tank as well.  The Avenging Force SG base lacked a portal to the Ritki War Zone (RWZ), and I thought bringing over a 50 tank would allow him to fairly easily gain the RWZ mothership exploration badge.  You could only get that particular badge during a raid, and without it, your SG could not have the portal.
