The names of his ninjas (seen above) follow a tight theme. First, there is Ram Yak himself, named after two 3-letter animals. Then his three minions were given names of 3-letter grains. Both rams and yaks are herbivores, after all. Thus his two lieutenants have the names of 4-letter grains, indicating their higher rank. Finally, Wheat, his boss Oni, is named for a 5-letter grain. I'm not sure anyone ever noticed the pattern, but I had planned it from the moment his first ninja was summoned.
Ram Yak's battle cry would almost always get a laugh the first time someone heard it. I like that in a battle cry. ;)
He looks great. To my eyes, it fully lives up to his name. He has the ram horns, of course. His strong squareish face with the Fu-Manchu moustache add the needed yakkiness. (And you got up this morning being sure you would not see the word "yakkiness"!)
He eventually would have become a rogue. He and his ninjas aren't in it to cause suffering. They're just in it for the money.
One thing I feel bad about. Of all the jobs in the world, what about the poor person who has to keep the horseshoe on his chest shaved and trim?
